She was smiling a lot, was a lot more relaxed (albeit slightly rehearsed) in interviews, and was radiating good energy. We know now she was ending her relationship with her ex, but that never came to the carpet with her. The interviews and red carpet sightings this year come across (to me) as very frigid and anxious. When they called out her name to join the rest of the cast, everyone clapped except Driver and Leto who decided to have a conversation then and there. For that reason alone, I understand why she might seem that way. At the end of the day we're all simply speculating on what we are seeing, and to me what we're seeing seems telling. It's been apparent in several of their interviews, a complete 180 from her experience on A Star is Born. She seemed much more relaxed around Bradley, whereas she's guarded around the current cast.
