Honestly, I just think they feel she talks too in depth about her character and methods. Like for a lot of them, this is just another job. Gaga will analyze everything. I think Adam just like reads it and does it (very well). Gaga said she felt intimidated and I think she still does. In every interview, she has the posture that she is very nervous or shy or feels like she isn’t in the club. Most people don’t watch interviews about actors discussing their roles. Gaga just has super fans trying to get every piece of info out of her. I think the cast was more excited as a whole in ASIB because it was her first big film role and it was Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut.

I just can't put my finger on it but minus Salma who's so adorable, the rest of the cast seems so disengaged and awkward. Dare I say, they look mad lmao. Somebody needs to pass them some champagne, a cigarette, hell a blunt.

I don’t blame them, they are a list actors but she’s a A+ list celebrity it’s got to be tiring having every interview mainly just be Gaga

Al Pacino seemed cool & willing to play (he was the only one who broke the silence at first), he's just a bit old, and kind of quiet anyway. As for Jared, IDK what his deal is, but his vibe seems off. Someone on twitter said Jared hurt his back, don't know how true that is, but I also do think he probably senses it's not all about him and is mostly taking a step back. Adam is almost always awkward and tense, so this is business as usual for him. That said, my first thought was since this was before the good reactions came in, maybe they all got wind of the World of Reel guy and his 4 or 5 fellow pundits telling everyone the movie was bad and it dampened their enthusiasm a bit. :toofunny: I also think Gaga probably would do great with a male lead who was more enthusiastic and movie-star-like (like BCoop). I feel the lead actors kind of set the tone for how these cast interviews go, and with Adam being super reserved, this had left Gaga all by her lonesome to try to sell this movie to people, along with Salma. (Honestly, everything would probably be less awkward if Gaga and Salma went all Oscar Isaac/Pedro Pascal and handled most of the movies press together :lolly:)

I was scared to watch the interview from the comments, but they seem fine? It’s just a serious bunch. Gaga can’t be cute and funny like she was with Bradley because his personality is different from this cast.

It's wild they do 3+ interviews in the same exact spot but the interviewer changes out lol zero change for them, same questions (usually)

I think some of y'all need to realize that not everyone's very extroverted or fun/funny. And that's okay. There are plenty of actors and artists who are more reserved and that's totally fine. Stop trying to create unnecessary drama between Gaga and her co-stars.

Seriously, omg. This was the first press day, their first time all together since the movie wrapped and their first time talking about it - and you can see they're all just respectfully listening to each other's answers, they're all looking at the person speaking and paying attention. Plus what are they supposed to do? Interrupt her so y'all can read too much into that instead?

Adam having a different personality than Bradley doesn't make him a lesser co-star or mean that he's leaving Gaga to sell the movie on her own. Stop comparing them, they're different people and he and Gaga obviously really like each other.

but in reality, most of these actors are just playing these parts as another part of their job. Their emotional connection to the story and characters is probably very different from them vs. Gaga's.

That is being a professional actor.

Schwerk

Can't understand why so many people get awkward vibes from this cast.

I've done my fair share of press junkets and they are always awkward and rushed and long tiring days for the cast.

This bunch is just very professional, serious and not in the mood to just say stuff for the sake of saying something. No fluff, pure business, which is refreshing to me.

Often its actors reciting the same answers over and over. Or they are so over it by the time you get to them they are acting like bored kids at school, making inside jokes and giggling. Which is fun to be around, but when you have to edit it for tv you're left with pretty much nothing worth airing.

These A listers seem relaxed, comfortable with each other and interested in hearing what the others have to say. They are all of a caliber that doesn't have to pretend to be bubbly if that's not their natural personality. Reminds me of the down to earth vibe the Dutch have and how we often get mistaken for being rude of uninterested because of it.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
