k what happened was terrible and a tragedy, but Travis’ shows are common for injuries she probably noticed the ambulance but didn’t think people were ****ing dying all over the crowd…

this falls on Travis and the crew around the festival, when you have a crowd so massive you have to have strict regulations and safety measures in place that we’re definitely not there.

Even if Travis & Kylie didn't realize, this camera man was among the people who could've taken initiative... maybe he thought they were exaggerating. This whole thing is just so heartbreaking..

Right. I think if there’s any debate/conversation to be had regarding this situation, it should be focus more on crowd safety and rules, how to accommodate emergency responses to mass casualties in crowded areas, and proper etiquette when someone is injured. Stuff like that.

Seeing ppl on twitter framing this as a “billionaires disregard their fans getting killed right in front of them” incident feels so wicked. like some kind of nefarious, intentional distortion of the truth, and in some cases it’s probably motivated by a preexisting disdain for kylie and/or travis.

Nope, there are countless videos of performers stopping shows at the first sign of something going wrong. He didn’t care. He needs to be held liable because it’s his fault.

well in a music festivals there is always ambulances going around, something is always happening.

people pass out, people are doing hardcore recreational dru*gs, people get epileptic attacks, get dehydrated, etc... Is absolutely not uncommon to see medical staff running around, or even several ambulancee at the same time.

Not trying to defend Travis or Kylie but if you are performing or you are in the audience is really hard to grasp at how bad really things are.

That ***t didn't happened in Glastonbury 2009

maybe she didn't know about "fatalities" but she knew there is something wrong.
She was escorted out from VIP section 30 minutes before Travis ended his show.

So she was escorted out of the vip area… How does Kylie get escorted out of the crowd without anybody being alerted of what is happening. This shows that Travis’ team knew it was getting bad in the crowd and they wanted who they considered important to be out of there.

Officials declared a "mass casualty incident" at 9:38 p.m., Travis Scott kept performing for over 30 minutes.
Live Nation agreed to cut show short, concert attendees said Scott played his whole set and finished at 10:15 p.m.
Police could not have abruptly ended the show for fear of sparking a riot they could not control.

It's crazy how neither her or Travis have actually apologized. Their statements are shallow and transparent. They don't care about the dead, they care about deflecting the blame.

I can only imagine if this had happened at a Gaga show, she would be BROKEN. It might change the whole course of her career.

this is the only reasonable explanation for continuing the set. it /might/ have made the panic and trampling situation worse

Kylie is an aloof, over-privelaged mega celebrity. Y’all really think she saw an ambulance and gave it an ounce of concern?

Should they front the cost of funerals/medical care? Absolutely. Is she accountable for the deaths? IMO, no.

in the videos posted on social media, you can literally see people jumping and singing along while the ambulance is right next to them. If the people right next to the ambulance didn't notice, how were the others supposed to notice right away?

Some of the people in the crowd should also take some of the blame for this tragedy,  they were acting like maniacs

This makes me never want to go to a festival ever and continue buying seated tickets for concerts. Obviously better event organization could have prevented this, they should have had two other performers playing so they could have lessened the crowd.
