I don’t see what was wrong with her stories. She’s said this plenty of times. She feels no need to be respectful to certain groups if they are not respecting her. This was not even bad.

This has got to be the most bullsh*t justification I've ever read lmao. In that case, homophobes have every right to be homophobic because they consider homosexuality disrespectful to them. Let's just use this excuse to justify everything I guess. Just because she said it doesn't mean it justifies her transphobia.

What did she say in these stories that was transphobic? I only saw her calling out gays for calling her bitch and mentally unstable but cancelling her for calling Perez Hilton the f word.

she literally called arca a white boy last night

and how tf is calling someone (be it Perez or not) a f*ggot (and literally saying it again in her stories a few hours ago) fine lmao. F*ck Perez and everything he stands for but being homophobic is not acceptable just because she said it or just because it was directed at someone who's horrible. And she's repeated such offenses over and over again.

Well I didn’t see that story. I don’t condone any transphobic behavior from her, but I do think she has a point about a double standard with f word and “bitch.”

ANYWAY... my favourite part about all of this is how this is probably the 8,000th time Azealia has been transphobic/anti-trans and yet she's still celebrated by the queers. Meanwhile when someone mentions Harry Potter they get dogpiled for "supporting TERFs"  and yet Azealia has done worse than JK Rowling and Dave Chapelle COMBINED.

im saying this as a trans woman: azealia’s actions are far less harmful in terms of big picture compared to the terf rhetoric spewed by rowling & chappelle. azealia just comes off as cruel, hateful, not to be taken seriously when she makes these attacks; rowling and chappelle are calculated with this rhetoric and how/when they speak about it and the wording they use. their transphobia is far more dangerous because it’s actively getting legislature put in place that takes away trans people’s civil liberties with the intention of spreading the ideology. azealia’s, while violent & disgusting, is ultimately just word vomit from the mouth of a rapid cycling, washed up, deeply sick individual looking to shock & hurt regardless of if people end up agreeing.
