Guys, STOP harassing critics/industry people on Twitter

A producer who attended the PGA screening tonight sent out these tweets:

https://imgur.com/a/ZS3qtu2

He later deleted the tweets, because a barrage of Gaga stans tweeted at him demanding clarifications on his phrasing, which he had already done repeatedly.

And this was far from a unique incident, because literally every single reaction tweet to this movie since yesterday has been flooded with Gaga stans demanding to hear their opinions on Gaga's Oscar chances.

This is not only rude and embarrassing, but potentially damaging to Gaga and the movie. The people that are attending these screenings from now to the next couple of weeks are mostly going to be film critics, industry professionals, guild members, and Oscar voters. These are the people that will decide how the movie will be received in the press, and how well Gaga will do during award season.

And believe me, spamming their mentions with stupid and repetitive questions will endear neither the movie nor Gaga to them.

And they can't even answer your questions anyway, as they are bound by a non-disclosure agreement and can't say anything about the movie until the embargo is lifted, by which time all the reviews would've been published anyway.

So stop it, all of you. For Gaga's sakes, stop embarrassing her like this.

Maybe Gaga daily could put out a tweet about this?  Basically remind fans there is an embargo and not to get all aggressive in people's mentions. @Admin

Don't worry that hottie likes us. Just make sure you guys like their tweets as much as you can. Yes these industry members REALLY care about their social media. They want more exposure, more followers, for better opportunities, relevance, promotion etc...

Will you stop? MGM/UAR is spending millions on promotion. They've hired experts, who have spent months working out delicate plans for the campaign. The last thing they need is for ignorant stans who have no idea what they are doing to **** up the industry relationships they work hard to build, and drive the entire campaign way off message.

And how is liking tweets that are relevant to HoG is gonna harm that campaign? I specifically said "Do not attack/harrass critics" I only said we need to like tweets about Gucci so that they go viral.

If anything people want their tweets to be liked. So what are you on about? Yes MGM hired people, but MGM cannot make things trend on twitter.

HAHA I did feel bad about the critic. Hope they take it in stride and realize that it comes with the territory of having Gaga in the film.

Agree, though. I know we're all on edge, but liddos got to chill. :teehee:

I feel like toxic people are gonna be toxic regardless of who says what. I mean, Gaga herself says "be kind, gays, xoxo" on a daily basis and you see how far that goes :huntyga:

Just pay them no mind tbh. The more attention you give them, the more incentive people have to act like spoiled brats when someone gives Gaga anything but a 10/10.

Enjoy the Gucci team's promo, get ready for Gaga's next hot line ala "100 people in the room", and enjoy the movie when it comes :gayhat: that's literally all that should be on our collective to-do list :gayhat:

If a campaign or business relations can be tanked by a bunch of children on Twitter then it was doomed to fail to begin with, imo. Trust me, they're fine :laughga: literally the worst thing that could happen is a critic will have to take an extra Tylenol before bed.

It's fine, nothing to stress yourself out over
