I’m actually shocked reading these comments. Maybe it’s because a lot of fans are new or something, but, Gaga has literally made her career around being a little “off the beaten path”.

Early in her career, people literally said she wouldn’t make it/fizzle out quick because she was too gay, too theatre, took her art too seriously, and isn’t relatable.

Well, now she is literally celebrated as an icon who fought for the gay community, celebrated as an actress, someone who has a strong vision of her art, and is known for being other-worldly, or an enigma. The fact she is so celebrated IS that she didn’t listen to the mass media.

So you all saying “she needs to tone it done, cause the film industry won’t like her” sounds legitimately like 2009-2013 haters

It amazes me how much they know about how someone should give interviews to promote a movie and conduct themselves,  because apparently that is the make or break for getting awards.

One of the reasons that Gaga used to stand out for me, apart from her music, used to be theatrics and dramatics through her words, appearances, interviews. Probably something which made me like her even more.

I am surprised to see people are complaining about 13 years into her career and calling her "cringy" and "pretentious". I mean there are so many other monotone artists to praise and stan, it's not that difficult.

Heath Ledger didn't commit suicide from method acting WTF. He died of a likely accidental overdose.

It is a popular belief, true or not, that Heath Ledger's downward spiral of self-medication that lead to his overdose was the byproduct of the adverse effects of method acting. I never said *I* necessarily believed that, I'm saying other people believe that who are likely also saying that Gaga is being over the top.
