See, I don't think Gaga is entirely sincere. The Vogue journalist even said something like "she sells it" and described her as "wink wink." I feel like Gaga is overly earnest at times, but she's also very aware of how she comes across and in this case she's giving full camp. The problem is the camp factor doesn't always come across in print interviews, etc. I do think around ASIB she was (mostly) sincere, in comparison, but even then I remember watching some interview and she brought up the 100 thing quote and literally winked at the audience and laughed.
