Cringe…..Someone needs to take mic from her. Just let the work speak for itself.

You must be a new fan.

U gotta admit tho after the whole

“pain through the dance” debacle about Chromatica causing her pain, it’s kinda refreshing to see people embracing the camp in her absurdity

trauma obviously isn’t fully but I’m glad we all agree her over the top-ness of it all is very funny

:ladyhaha:

Exactly what I thinks. Her weirdness is back, so is her joy in the face. I really love when she's like that. Being over the top and telling weird stories. She seems so happy.

so now anyone can't be committed to their art without being called "pretentious" and "self-important" she is devoted to her craft and putting everything she has as a person in her work since the very beginning. this is not being "extra" and "over the top" just for the sake of it to being talked about, this is putting creativity and art in a pedestal, like she always do.

Or just don’t watch her interviews? Why would she shut up for your cause.

i guess ppl expect they arrange a press conference to be quiet... she's just being honest about her experience with her character.

I don’t know how to explain it, but I always feel like Gaga is trying to sell her sincerity and trying to invoke feelings to build a connection with people through her rationales and words vs. through the work.

in my eyes her work is always where her mouth is, what do you mean exactly? we haven't even seen the movie.

See, I don't think Gaga is entirely sincere. The Vogue journalist even said something like "she sells it" and described her as "wink wink." I feel like Gaga is overly earnest at times, but she's also very aware of how she comes across and in this case she's giving full camp. The problem is the camp factor doesn't always come across in print interviews, etc.

I do think around ASIB she was (mostly) sincere, in comparison, but even then I remember watching some interview and she brought up the 100 thing quote and literally winked at the audience and laughed.
