Salma Hayek:Viva la Gaga

It was the interviewer making it look weird, not the cast. They are all grown ass actors with some much above Gaga on acting scene. They don’t need to fangirl after each sentence she says. I believe they have no problem with Gaga whatsoever.

Am I the only one who thinks what the interviewer did was appropriate? :oprah:

I feel like the interviewer was a huge Gaga fan and felt bad for Gaga who basically said that she loves this cast and there is (again) no reaction whatsoever from them so the interviewer wanted to point that out. She even said "I just wanted to help you out sis!" That says it all. So maybe in the next interviews they will finally have some kind of reaction when Gaga is talking nicely about them. Can't be that hard to act nicely in return.

It was a bit awkward, but c'mon.. when somebody praises you and tells u that they love you /loved working with you/ that they are family etc. at least say something. :air: (When Gaga talked about Bradley when she was sitting next to him, he would say stuff like "thank you" or "you too" or put his hands onto hers to show his affection/gratitude) :bradley:

I get weird vibes from them altogether - Gaga seems like the only one who truly wants to promote this movie and talk about her character and what it was like filming and the rest of them come across as if they have to be there but son't really want to.

(only exceptions are Salma, she's super cool & Adam, cuz I know he's not that much into press and interviews)

(Or maybe all of them forgot how to interact with real people after Covid) :partysick:

No shade but she’s the eclectic artist he thinks he is.

Why do people keep mocking Jared's artistry?

What's wrong with being a little bit over-the-top? He's been a very great and passionate entertainer as far as I can tell.

Maybe they just didn't want to risk interrupting her? Them not being Bradley doesn't make them rude. And most of the questions are directed at Gaga so of course she's doing the most talking.

There are some cute clips of her and Adam joking around from the Q&A today floating around.

No but they could"ve made it feel like they supported her. When someone says they love you abd think of you as family, you can't just sit there and stay silent. They were the awkward ones. I mean even their faces looked extremely bored and uninterested as she said that.

this is not being scripted, this is having a clear message to spread and being focus, don't give up, it really only takes one person to believe in you no matter how much hundreds of ppl shut you down.

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

I haven't seen the full interview but I would like to in order to get the context for this clip. It may have been the case that the whole interview was the interviewer doing her best, Gaga doing her best and the rest of them going through the motions because they've done this a thousand times before and they'll do it a thousand times again. This clip was the wrap-up and it may have been a case of an exasperated interview taking her last opportunity to say to them 'thank you so much for all your help you bunch of absolute stiffs'.

Or maybe not. Need to see the full session.

The reporter made it very cringe but regardless they seem desinterested af, Ive seen other movie interviews, like Dune where its full of gagas (complementing each other non stop lol) and even in Eternals where Salma acts and she wouldnt stop talking in most interviews to the point it was awkward because she couldnt stop talking over Angelina or interrupting her
