MessyTop 14,389
Im Ok with her never performing Chromatica. I don’t want her to relive the pain. We love you Gags

Doily Skull 260
I’m happy to see people defending her decisions for once. The amount of toxic behavior here is astounding though. Sad, sociopathic, baby ass teenage behavior, acting like this one person owes you the world because… she didn’t make shiny music videos to entertain you during a worldwide pandemic?? Sorry not sorry, but dropping $20 on an album doesn’t entitle you to jack ****. Y’all need to stop taking it personally when she doesn’t do what you want, and before someone comes at me saying that I’m taking this personally, I’m uplifting her. I’m supporting her and defending her because she is a whole person who drug herself through the dirt to get where she is today. What are you doing? Boo-hooing because Future Nostalgia did better promo cuz Dua Lipa and her team didn’t give a **** about COVID protocols? Must be so hard. Fortunately unfortunately, some of us have real lives and real problems and can appreciate the album and Gaga for what it is and who she’s become, so stay pressed, sistren. 🤷🏻♂️ She’s still making money off pursing her passions and will never even know you exist. Well. Hopefully she will never know you exist, because imagine doing and putting out something you’re proud of and having someone you’ve never even met before tell you “this isn’t enough, you’re being lazy, this other artist is doing more than you, why can’t you give us more?” Toxic. Being a poorly formulated Regina George expy will never be cute or desirable. The fan base’s lack of emotional maturity is showing in full color and has been since ARTPOP. ~staying stupid through my holy days~
Chromatica Island 8,517
Good god some of y'all are rude, I'm sure she'll continue making pop music, but on a different subject in her life tbh. Any/All Pronouns, Genderfluid🏳⚧
Delulu Rogers 7,251
I don’t know why everyone is acting so surprised. She already said something similar during gaga radio and it was obvious she never really was into the era. I don’t think however that this is why we barely got an era. She still promoted ARTPOP and Joanne after all and they claimed to have a big rollout ready to go for chromatica. I think gaga just saw an opportunity to not promote and took it cause she doesn’t like pop anymore.
Oriane 21,114
I understand that feeling. You need to use music and art to express these things, but it's hard to revisit all of that. Azelf550 990
Chromatica is truly her most personal body of work and, honestly, her best. She was right when she said this:

The Fame Monster was written about the shock to her system that fame brought on as well as her fears. Dark stuff. Some Born This Way songs were written from a place of pain but the album as a whole was more oriented towards society rather than the individual, I feel. ARTPOP was "my pain exploding in electronic music. It's heavy but after I listen to it I feel lighter again". The themes were drugs (addiction, really), fakeness, sexual abuse, and identity crises. At every JWT stop, she'd explain how she identified with her father and Joanne because of their pain, pain is an equalizer, pain changes who you are to the point you may not recognize yourself anymore, and the album was all about her identifying with Joanne and finding herself in that. Chromatica's very self explanatory I LOOOOOVE that she's so serious about her work and won't put out anything that's dishonest so I really hope she's in a better place for the next album. I'd hate to think about her torturing herself by turning trauma into bops and then singing them every night You're stinky

Maybe she should try to see her past albums from another point of view - so both she and fans can be more positive about her albums and those discussions wouldn’t exist. It doesn’t mean I don’t care about her wellbeing Stop reading
thefamebitch 834
We need to let her be human. She may mean a lot to some of you individually but none of us truly know her as a person. Sorry if that’s pretty blunt. If it is better for her as a human to move on from all of this, she needs to do it. And we can all to support her by allowing her the space and time to heal on her terms. That may mean permanently. So it’s really time for some fans to start seeking other ways of enjoyment/ entertainment/ etc in life.
Mother of Puppies 36,456
I mean... when you look at the lyrics it's crystal clear she was in a very dark place... and looking at some of the photos of her back then (paparazzi pics etc) she looked very unhappy. I hope she is in a better place now ( I believe she really is now) so let's hope for a "fun pop" record next! (Doesn't have to be pop though) THEY CALL ME LADY MOP
