TaylorSwift 162,285 Posted October 30, 2021 Share Posted October 30, 2021 Two thieves stole 45 bottles of wine, including an extremely rare 215-year-old bottle valued at 350,000 euros ($407,000), from a collection at an upscale hotel and restaurant complex in southwestern Spain. The theft took place in the early hours of Wednesday according to José Polo, one of the owners of Atrio, a complex comprising a hotel and a two-Michelin-starred restaurant with a cellar sheltering over 40,000 bottles in the city of Caceres. Hotel ‘guests’ checked out in the early hours of Wednesday, paying with a credit card and leaving with bags full of bottles. The suspects are a man and woman who spoke English and gave staff the impression of being a refined couple who checked into the hotel and dined at its restaurant. In my opinion its all phychological to realize ur sipping on something so expensive and sheek (however u spell that)... At least in my opinion I see no considerable link between price and better taste. In fact one of my fav forms of sparkling wine is the "Bambino" brand which is one of the cheapest brands of sparkling wines and champaign knock offs available where I live Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Similarly, $50 - $150 bottles do taste better, but again, in that range, not too much difference. I once had a glass from a $500 bottle of wine (the most expensive I've had) and it was very good but it was such a short amount of time and I didn't exactly have anything to compare it to, y'know?
