Did it prevent us from surviving our childhood? The same way, some kids who grow up in loving and privileged families can end up being depressed and unhappy. I think it's dangerous to oversimplify these things. Nothing is ever black and white in life.
RAMROD 108,367
I feel like the writing's on the wall for these couple anyway, right? They are on and off for a lot of times before, not impossible they will be together again after awhile. Seriously if people aren't sure they can try to be together, why are they having babies? It's the child that will suffer from the separation not them. Don't rush to have a baby if you're not sure about your partner yet. You will never be 100% sure of your partner. Seriously? Are you 12?

When children out of these wreckless marriages/relationships end up twice as likely to fail in high school and 300% more likely to have mental health issues, I think it's time for more responsible parenting decisions. Having a child is a big responsibility. It's not something to be done with just anybody. Take your time. Because your decisions will severely impact the life of another and through no fault of their own they'll grow up in a much more difficult environment. Do you have children? Cause it appears there was some sort of abuse or anger related issues here. You don’t always know about them when you get together or have children. Life and relationships are WAY more complicated than you think

And yes I know, separation is better than an abusive parent. It just irks me that some people decide to have children before they even marry. It's clearly they're thinking about the consequences of marriage and all of the legal repercussions, but they don't think too much about the possibility of having a kid grow up with separated parents (which provingly can harm the kid). And it's typical of celebrities. They're selfish as ****. I remember when my parents were close to divorce when I was young, the thought of it traumatized me, but fortunately they salvaged the marriage for the sake of their children and at the expense of their own happiness, which is something I'll always respect them for. Well unless you have children you have no clue how hard the decision really is. And marriage does not protect people from splitting up, I know first hand
