IWantYourLove 1,409
If it wasn’t a huge choreographed track with a backing etc yes probably I did it last year lol (obviously wasn’t a fan since I’m not famous but you get the idea)

Ronk 14,762
I was hoping Metallica and Gaga would have started over when James Hetfield's mike didn't work. But that was at the Grammys so maybe there wasn't time to start over. At least the video of the dress rehearsal is out there to enjoy. I live outside the space time continuum. I personally hate when performers start over again, it takes you off the magic of the performance, and it stains the delivery of the performance as whole, a giant turn off for me. You make a good point. Thanks for posting. I watched the live Grammy performance again and see what you are saying. I think both the live and the dress rehearsal performances can be enjoyed for their own merits. I still prefer the dress rehearsal performance because James was so upset in the live performance and I don't like him to be upset. The Grammies is one of those chances to show your greatness to a general audience. We know that Metallica is very professional, but the general audience doesn't follow metal and just sees a big mishap which makes them look unpolished. I felt badly for James. Yes, we can appreciate the live performance for all the reasons you mention, but most people won't. I will enjoy both performances from now on. I live outside the space time continuum.
