I know one godly woman, the daughter of a preacher no less, who has been married 4 times Anyway, this is scary. Our country is really an out of control train careening down the tracks toward a demolished bridge. You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love. Our country is really an out of control train careening down the tracks toward a demolished bridge. Reminds me of that woman Kim Davis who was a county clerk and refused to give a gay couple a marriage license. She was married a few times herself but claimed her religious beliefs kept her from doing her job issuing marriage licenses. From her Wikipedia page: “Davis has been married four times to three husbands. The first three marriages ended in divorce in 1994, 2006, and 2008. Davis has two daughters from her first marriage and twins, a son and another daughter, who were born five months after her divorce from her first husband. Her third husband is the biological father of the twins, the children being conceived while Davis was still married to her first husband.” These people who claim “religious freedom” to justify their bigotry are blasphemous clowns. RahrahWitch 6,985
I don't get it will this actually do anything? How does a single state overrule the 2015 legislation?
Gagaloo911 12,959
Yet if the Supreme Court were to overrule Roe v Wade they'd sure follow that, as well as any other ruling that suits their agenda
Concertaholic 6,679
Just to be clear, as someone who worked for a Democratic Texas state senator, this is a opinion/letter written by 1 of Texas’ 150 state representatives, so the power this irrelevant man holds is negligible. He only represents around 190 thousand Texans out of the state’s 29 million residents. While many of his colleagues may share the same backwards belief, this is not an official opinion or statement from the Texas government or governor. KORG 4,756
This is so Florida of Texas. That's funny, since you could just say "that's very landfill of toilet" "that's very religious extremist of the religious terrorists" etc.
