Brainiac 10,601
I came across this performance of Judas and Born This Way on The Graham Norton Show from 2011 and was completely blown away by how AMAZING both these performances were. I hadn't seen them in basically 10 years. The outfits, the set design, the choreo, the live instrumentals, and most of all, the VOCALS. How can anyone watch this and not stan IMMEDIATELY? Watch! TD was gigantic, even more considering how it got extended with the TDTCC.. And yes, as with every other gaga era, there were many things we couldn't get at the end

dove 521
Omg yess! Also I love this one, the stage presence and that crazy dance at 3:30 god. The fact that this was at the beginning of her career... I havent seen yet anyone to give a performance like this months after dropping their first album, the energy! Didn’t realize how special all of that was til years later. Been a cuff touple, a puff bupple, a tough couple of years.
BiblicalS3NSE 187
I only liked the Judas performance. Tbh I wished she didn't perform/promote much during BTW. Hype alone made her interesting. When I think about it, the era was very messy and the shiny moments like these got overshadowed by other "notorious" stuff. If I was her label, I wouldve had the era/singles gone like this: 1.Born This Way- Explosive, big, controversial! Definitely made a statement. 2.You And I- A shock to the GP, but the song speaks for itself and wouldn't need much promotion, it's so left field and would've garnered attention on its own, and would've made Gaga seem more "interesting" and a "risk taker". A modern classic that deserved to be! 3.Judas- First post-album single, fan favorite, released during summer 2011, very requested after two very different sounding singles, throwback to TFMga. Marry The Night- Fall release, safe choice after "controversial" Judas, fits winter mood and amp up the promotion again at this point. A winter classic! Edge of Glory- Definitely fits "final single" mode for its message, imagine a heartfelt Grammy's 2012 performance, February release, promote the BTW ball with this song all throughout 2012, slowly reaches the top 10 by summer, BAM! End BTW in a good note! Matt. 6:

Dojo 19,365
everytime i watch performances like from the BTW era i think about how maximalist everything is. Like she is trying too hard. In previous eras (TF + TFM) She was so smooth, dramatic yet natural and divine and during BTW is like she was trying constantly to prove a point.
