A person with a DUI from any of the top 5 countries has more freedom to travel than someone with a masters degree from one of the bottom 5. And it’s all because they hapoened to be born in the right country. I don’t understand why we can’t just do background checks. (provide proof of stay, 0 criminal record) Even a passport system similar to credit score would be better than the current system (although I am against this too.)
