Iāll just kind of become unconscious and zombie-eat a lot, and then Iāll feel sick. Iāve told Shawn about that. So at the VMAs party, I was like, āIām doing it.ā And he was like, āItās okay. Youāre doing it. Thatās okay. Letās just take a breath and not do that.ā Itās really good for me to be able to talk about my patterns with someone.ā āWhen Iām having negative thoughts about my body, thatās actually when Iāll want to binge-eat cookies, and then I have a stomachache,ā she says. āItās this weird psychology: The more I love my body, the more I actually want to take care of itā¦. As long as Iām healthy and working out and feel good, thatās the best I can do. Thereās no point in trying to have another kind of body.ā source https://store.taylorswift.com
ShayCristoforo 10,607
This is a huge coping mechanism for sure. It's super easy to just zombie-eat mindlessly, when you aren't even hungry. Especially now. And it's so hard to correct this behavior because food is sooo damn good lol.Ā Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.
Brainiac 11,171
I honestly can relate to her here VERY well. I have the same issue. It's very hard to get out of that mindset also. During the beginning of the pandemic last year, I was eating A LOT to numb the pain and anxiety I was feeling.
