God, I can only imagine the horrors that those kids had to go through. Organized religion is seriously one of the worst parts about humanity, in large part because they often get away these with these sorts of things. What's even worse is that many times when children tell their parents about this stuff, the parents don't end up believing it because they couldn't even ~fathom~ the idea of nuns or priests doing such horrible things.

I also think it's an important thing to distinguish religion and the religious. Religion itself is just a concept. You can use it for good or for evil. I have religious friends and they would find this equally as abhorrent and disgusting. The problem is that people use religion as a veil in order to cover up the inhumane sh*t that they're doing. I hope anyone involved in this scandal rots in hell.

Let’s assume a lot of them are too stupid to know how bad Christianity is

You force all of them to take a course about it and then they either leave that disgusting cult or get jailed

I thought it wasn't soooo much but dividing by 70 years and 12 months is actually more than 250 children every month every year!! And that's just the tip of the iceberg since a lot must be underreported. Damn.

I think within the church this is somehow gonna be seen as expanding the hate towards us gays. I see it coming somehow focusing on us as a problem instead of the abusers directly. Its gonna be interesting.
