Its inelivable even if you dont have social media. Not to mention that this happened a couple years (or so?) already between Facebook and Cambridge Analytica. Maybe this source posted inaccurate information and everyone just ran with it? I wondered that too but then FB won't want to get sued if it turns out the worst happened and they intentionally lied to us. I think we fell into the trap of believing the first thing we see online without stopping to consider the validity of the source. Trust what the big name news outlets are saying, not the smaller names.
