Chromatica should have won Grammy instead of FN

People move goalposts on who should win all the time. Gaga promoted the hell out of BTW, but 21 deserved to win because of commercial success, Arcade Fire deserved to beat TFM because of critical acclaim but it also had less promo, but now FN deserves to win over Chromatica due to more promo. I don’t care who won, and I like FN, but let’s not act like stans don’t move goalposts. This reminds me of when people thought FROOT was better than ARTPOP.

Right so the grievance isn’t with the music I get it and trust me I hear you. It’s with the academy picking and choosing which item is more popular. I don’t think that approach is fair, but they have been sloppy for years now.

You didn't even read their comment, you just farted a response

Why because you can't come with any excuse to defend! Cry more and yes I did farted all over your face with a response you couldn't respond to.

I love Gaga and Chromatica, but let's not kid ourselves. Future Nostalgia was leagues ahead in terms of production and theming; Chromatica was a bit all over the place and not as cohesive.

I love chromatica but come on FN is quite brilliant and the theme was so consistent. Dua served so hard. Gaga served too but not as hard as Dua (FN era-had a lot more work put into it tbh)

What? Lol Chromatica is one of her most cohesive albums. How is it all over the place?

Do you remember the part where she  said there were multiple times where her heart wasn't in this record and Bloodpop had to force her to work on it?

omg she didn't say that her heart wasn't in this record, you're paraphrasing her and changing the narrative, she said she was depressed and didn't even wanted to be gaga or write music anymore, bloodpop pulled her out her depressive state being enthusiastic and trying to get her in the studio to write music, but once she was writing, her heart was completely into it when she opened this "portal" as she likes to call it, her creativity is sacred to her, she's always fully committed in mind and heart once she finds the bravery and inspiration of just trying and don't give up her life, just like a lot of us.

Tbh if it wasn't Chromatica for best pop vocal album, they should've nominated SAWAYAMA and Rina should've won. The sheer vocal versatility on that record is enough to snatch the trophy.

Cohesive as in: the theme is songs that sound generically like 'futuristic' versions of pop styles from the 70s-80s, as opposed to a pop record that deals with a journey through resisting healing to self acceptance? Huh.

Again No, if Gaga did all these performances, interviews and magazine covers every month releasing content every month with random collabs to keep the era afloat, while also doing a livestream concert ala Studio 2054, Your opinion would not be the same I'm sure.

But she did all those things in 2020. Just not for Chromatica.
