Chromatica should have won Grammy instead of FN

The Vocal in the name is just to denote a difference from the Pop Instrumental Album category there was. It's NOT about who sings more.

With that being said, Chromatica should've won. It's so rich and with top notch production. Gaga's most cohesive album and still filled with deep and inspiring moments. I like FN a lot but it feels too safe and I fail to connect with it.

If she had won the other fanbases would drag her to hell and  back because for some reason they consider it a dud (specially swifties). Stans complain all the time Grammys are just popularity contest etc etc but make all the fuss when something that wasn't as succesful or as well promoted wins. So FN beat the frontrunner Folklore and people just were fine with it cause it had hits.

Umm..  taste is SUBJECTIVE and you are stating it like a fact, yes, Future Nostalgia is an amazing album for Dua's standard and calibre but the vocals and production are far more polished and complex on Chromatica, the visuals and vocals ate Dua, just because She was EVERYWHERE with a sub-par album, doing the most out of everyone made her nominated and she only won one Grammy even after all the campaigning and so did gaga without lifting her finger.

That rumour never made any sense. Super Bowl and Grammys aired in the same network this year so it's not like they were competing for ratings (besides they aired in different dates, what would be the point?). Multiple artists have performed at both events in the same year, including Gaga in 2016 and 17.

Some say Abel was blocked by the special committee that oversees general field categories but that also fails cause he didn't get nominations in the pop categories that doesn't have committees. He was just not voted by the membership. There are some claims the votes in nomination phase are extremely low numbered, so possibly some artists and labels can lobby their produts with some voters or just convince their academy friends to pick them and you're in - see Justin getting 4 nominations with that panned mess that is Changes.

The Weeknd's snubs will always be a mystery considering how he dominated and was adored last year, but these major media news about it arent good hypothesis.

most of us connected with FN on a deeper level, wich is ironic because Gaga's message was dance trought the pain, this is my dancefloor i fought for, but trust me, Don't Start Now, Physical and Levitating ACTUALLY made us dance and more important, trought such hard time as it qas the quarantine.

Gaga put the concept on the table but the music and the execution was not there and Dua without even actually trying (She didn't anticipate the pandemy obvi) delivered a flawless pop masterpiece that was able to be enjoyed by everyone of EVERY age.

Again No, if Gaga did all these performances, interviews and magazine covers every month releasing content every month with random collabs to keep the era afloat, while also doing a livestream concert ala Studio 2054, Your opinion would not be the same I'm sure.

Chromatica is a nice album, but it seems missing something. While Future Nostalgia feels like a whole journey.

Chromatica deserved it because I also think it's the better album but I'm not mad it lost to Future Nostalgia. That's been a fun album and Dua worked her a$$ off through the pandemic to give the fans an experience. Same as Born This Way, at least it lost to Adele's 21.

Switching it up to Joanne, I'd have been ok if it lost to Lorde's Melodrama but that one got snubbed and it ended up losing to freaking Ed Sheeran's Divide.  It's nice when your favorite artist gets those Grammys because it makes something kind of "official" but at the end of the day, it's all about time and what one decides to listen to for the rest of their life, not awards.

In 2017 Super Bowl was before Grammy.
This year Grammy was originally scheduled for January 31 and Super Bowl for February 7.

Yeah literally the only somewhat deep song on the album is Boys will be Boys and that's also litreal, no metaphors whatsoever, it consists of well produced bops.
