That’s horrible that that happened to you, and I’m so sorry that you went through that. Please understand though, that your experience does not negate Sherry pies victims experience, and to attempt to downplay what she done is just wrong.

You’re missing the point of what she did entirely. She manipulated them to take them under the guise of if they took them they would land this huge Hollywood role and it would change their lives forever. no, she didn’t literally force the steroids down their throat, but she did forcefully manipulate them to take them against their better judgement.

I have not said she is a criminal. She is not a sexual offender as she has not been charged with anything but she is a sexual abuser. 

I’m so disgusted and shocked at the level people will go to to excuse what she done in this thread. You would think that given that gaga is everyone’s common interest on this site we would all be more sensitive and understanding to sexual abuse victims and not immediately dismiss them because they don’t fit the typical stereotype of an abuse victim. Gross. 

I don’t think people are excusing it. I think people are putting a realistic tag on it. It’s a scam, it’s fraud. It was Pervy and it was a violation of privacy. It was wrong. But this is not comparable to sexual offenders on the level of rape and child molestation. It’s a mix between hidden cam, and a scam. Not everything is black and white. She has been black listed for 2 years, this doesn’t mean she has to live miserable for the rest of her life. She should be held accountable- and she has been- but- if there are others who want to give her a second chance, then fine. But stop comparing what she did to the severity level of rape- it just isn’t.

Nobody has said that it’s the same as rape or child abuse once in this thread. It’s sexual abuse. Sexual abuse is not equal to rape or child abuse. Sexual abuse encompasses many different things (including what you said, but also many other things), like what Sherry done.
