From the American Psychology Association:

Sexual abuse is unwanted sexual activity, with perpetrators using force, making threats or taking advantage of victims not able to give consent.

The victims did not consent to performing sexual acts for pleasing Sherry Pie. It was not mutual. They were performing/auditioning for what they thought a role. She abused their will and consent to her fictionous roll, therefore abusing the situation. This is sexual abuse and to say otherwise is defending Sherry’s behavior.

The sexual abuse definition says "with." It's does not say "for."

Okay I’m not even gonna debate this with you it’s pointless 😭. What she done was sexual abuse and if you are still refusing to accept that, it just reflects badly on you im sorry

Why? Why doesn't it reflect poorly on your reading comprehension?

I don’t like her and don’t support her, but be careful with calling her a criminal.
she was never charged with a crime nor declared a sex offender, in the court of law that is.
public opinion in the other hand …:trollga:

This! I think she is disgusting ajd never liked her but if she wasn't found guilty... she has right to work no?

Wow you are a clown 🤡 She conducted this abuse WITH them, not FOR them how does that make any sense? You pulling at straws for the nuance of what sexual abuse is does not count for great comprehension or ability to accept another perspective. You clearly have no intention in learning anything and sad to hear you sympathize with an abuser.

I kinda agree with @BARKDANGER that we should be able to move on (I don't know better term than that sorry) people who have been held accountable for horrible actions if they've shown they've changed and bettered themselves.

S**** P** has been held accountable as far as she ever will be for what she did (scrubbed from Drag Race even though she was probably going to win, drag career hit rock bottom, publicly known to be gross manipulative, etc).

Have they shown they've changed? No.

If the victims didn't press charges, what are we even mad at. They aren't even mad enough to press charges.

I just want to point out that the vast majority of sexual abuse goes completely unreported, let alone making it into a court of law.

In many cases, bringing charges, testifying, etc. is tantamount to retraumatization to survivors.

a lot of people in this thread have never been touched by sexual assault/harassment in their lives and it shows. good for you that you haven't had to suffer through that yourself or see someone you love go through it but the fact that so many people choose to speak on this as a "mistake" is really gross and disheartening

I agree with your statement but usually it goes unreported because if anonymity. This person or people have put it all over the internet.

That's why this case is so stupid. Retraumataizing masterbation and hitting the send button. Surviving what?

Even the definition of sexual abuse doesn't apply here.

Thats the whole point of my argument. There are real victims out there. This isn't anything but embarrassed people.

The definition does apply, i literally responded to you but you ignored be because you had nothing productive to contribute. They are real victims, how dare you say what is or isnt sexual abuse. This is something, at the very least THOUSANDS of sexual assault survivors who heard about Sherry Pie agree with me. You are sheltered and ignorant.

This isnt cancel culture. This is accountability culture, and luring/gaslighting innocent men into making fake explicit audition tapes for your own twisted gratification over and over is evil. You convey ignorance.

What is your definition of cancel culture? It’s calling someone “over”.

Like I said numerous times throughout this thread, I don’t agree with what she did. Do you expect her to stay hidden for the rest of eternity because of the disturbing things she did in the past?

I sympathize with the people that she has affected, but I also believe people are entitled to redemption. If having that state of mind and belief makes me seem like a bad person, or as you said “ignorance”, then so be it.

I’m not ignorant. Very far from it. I’m just trying to be a level headed person, who acknowledges that Sherrie did something wrong. If she has remorse and guilt for what she did, then let her move past it. It’s not realistic for her to not be able to work again, to have a life, and to grow and learn from her actions.

It’s just so baffling that people would rather continue to hate on people then to let them redeem themselves. :udidnt:

And I’m just curious, has anyone on this thread actually knows first hand what happened? Or is everyone just going off what they read from the internet?
