Not sex offender defenders in here :triggered:

She wasn't charged with any crime. Technically she's not even a regular criminal.

Just a liar, a fraud, a cat-fisher. Judging by that reddit description, I'm not even sure there was any sex or sexual activity at all in the videos other than someone pretending to like how their armpits smell.

She’s not legally a sex offender and has been committed of no crimes. That being said, she had been held accountable by popular culture- but I wouldn’t compare what she did, to rape. Wrong and Pervy? Oh yeah. She took advantage of people’s naivity. It’s more closely related to a scam. I often wonder if she could be sued for her actions.

Calling someone a victim who took off their clothes on camera because they thought they were getting a part in a movie is ridiculous.

this is a shameful attitude you have. she forced them to take steroids resulting in permanent bodily harm with permanent lasting effects all for her sexual gratification. to make it worse, the alleged role that they were "auditioning" for was fabricated.

i dont know how you can think that coercing someone into a sexual act that is not only damaging to your body but also filmed and available for the abuser to watch at any time or even share at any time isnt a sexual offence. that is sexual, emotional, and to an extent, physical abuse.

when people - mostly women - in hollywood are sexually abused with the promise of getting a role in a movie, that is very clearly sexual abuse. why exactly is this different? when you dangle a potentially life changing opportunity in front of someone in exchange for sexual gratification; that is sexual abuse, there isn't any nuance about this.

"I had to film scenes that felt particularly sexual and awkward, but the opportunity seemed too good to let the overt sexual nature or my inhibitions get in the way. I simply told myself that my parents wouldn’t be allowed to see the show, but I wanted the professional experience and the bright and shiny object on my resume."

i dont think you actually read the victims accounts because somethings not clicking. you need to stop defending and minimizing her actions. this exact attitude is why abuse victims do not come forward.

Y’all I genuinely get it, she’s gotten her hands real dirty. We should neglect supporting her or giving her an opportunity but that doesn’t mean we should concentrate on her having a miserable life for the rest of her life. That is not for us to carry. Expecting her to stay home forever is just not realistic. Many people have done way worse and are not being held accountable (especially white rich men). Do not support her but don’t go out of your way to hate on her. She had a gig, so what. Did you attend? If the answer is no then good for you, now continue to worry about your business. Also please no dumb “your defending a sex offender” comments, no ma’am I’m using my brain cells, use yours.

Girl, they are victims of fraud. Not sexual abuse. Overtly sexual doesn't mean they shot nude videos or even **** and person was fine with doing it when he thought he would get a job that would look good in his "resume."

Again the court of law didn't even find a reason to press charges. Even with looking at the videos.

We believed the victims and she hasn't worked in like a year. Great but if she hasn't committed a crime then leave let her get her life back.

Like we are fighting so hard because she embarrassed some masculine white jocks. Because there was no crime committed for her to be charged with.

Honestly last year I was completely onboard with punishing her for what she did. I thought it was a forced Harvey Weinstein situation. But after reading what she really did, I'm like meh.

She didn't force steroids down people throats. By the way steroids are illegal. Why are the jocks going to jail for purchasing or lying to their doctors to get illegal drugs? It's not like she sold them illegal steroids. I mean I've taken steroids in the past. I stopped because it was so difficult at least in Florida to find needles to inject them into your butt cheek.  Everytime I went to buy some people looked at me like I was a heroine addict. I suffer from anxiety and that was super stressful for me. And I also didn't want to get super muscular so I stopped all together.

I mean the person who took illegal steroids found some way to get the steroids but didn't pick up the phone to verify the Sherry's employment until after they were ghosted. Like give me a break. It's like these people need someone to blame for their embarrassment. No one was raped. No one was even touched. I'm just saying you can't call people sexual offenders if they didn't even do anything sexual. It's not like child p0rn0graphy where the victim isn't old enough to understand what they are doing. This cheapens people who are really attacked by sexual offenders.

She may have been a bad person but she not a criminal. Muchless a sexual offender. I think there is alot of opinionated people on this site who don't really have much life experience and love to sit behind a computer screen and judge everyone really harshly just based on allegations alone. In this case the allegations weren't even crime worthy.

They were nude and masturbated on camera.

the victims didn’t try to press charges, that’s why nothing legal has happened.

oh so it’s fine that they were sexually abused because they’re a white masculine jock? they must be able to handle it? that’s a disgusting attitude. sexual abuse is sexual abuse no who the victim is.

You’re missing the point of what she did entirely. She manipulated them to take them under the guise of if they took them they would land this huge Hollywood role and it would change their lives forever. no, she didn’t literally force the steroids down their throat, but she did forcefully manipulate them to take them against their better judgement.

I have not said she is a criminal. She is not a sexual offender as she has not been charged with anything but she is a sexual abuser.

I’m so disgusted and shocked at the level people will go to to excuse what she done in this thread. You would think that given that gaga is everyone’s common interest on this site we would all be more sensitive and understanding to sexual abuse victims and not immediately dismiss them because they don’t fit the typical stereotype of an abuse victim. Gross.

Everyone makes mistakes. As long as she recognizes it, learns from it, and doesn’t do it again…then she deserves a second chance.

I don’t believe in cancel culture.

Edit: please see the rest of this tread to see what I am conveying.

This isnt cancel culture. This is accountability culture, and luring/gaslighting innocent men into making fake explicit audition tapes for your own twisted gratification over and over is evil. You convey ignorance.

If the victims didn't press charges, what are we even mad at. They aren't even mad enough to press charges. Also this doesn't even describe sexual abuse.

From the American Psychology Association:

Sexual abuse is unwanted sexual activity, with perpetrators using force, making threats or taking advantage of victims not able to give consent.

The victims did not consent to performing sexual acts for pleasing Sherry Pie. It was not mutual. They were performing/auditioning for what they thought a role. She abused their will and consent to her fictionous roll, therefore abusing the situation. This is sexual abuse and to say otherwise is defending Sherry’s behavior.
