The Fame Album Discussion

I thought The Fame was the perfect album to introduce GaGa's artistic style. I love how she socially critiques the desire for fame and yet juxtaposes it by embracing in that same desire. The musical sound is great and I love how the songs sound shallow on the outside but have layers and layers of meaning on the inside. Man each of her albums are so genius in so many ways.

I like most of the songs, however my only criticism is that the singles sound much stronger than the album tracks, except Boys Boys Boys. I'm not saying the rest are bad, but the difference is noticeable.

Brown Eyes is great, the sadness in her voice is beautiful.

And Paparazzi. :legend:

This will always have a place in my heart 'cause it introduced me not only to gaga but also to the music industry as I don't have any interest in American music before.

Summerboy's my killer track and the cuteness of Eh Eh made me a fan.

My favorite Gaga album by far. There's not a single song in there I don't like and it helps me cope when things go to hell. (Plus the fashion!)

I've noticed Gaga just after TFM, but also love TF singles. :) Also in TF there are a lot of mainstream songs like in Teenage Dream... It's not good, but I can't believe, how she progressed.
