The infrastructure bill isn't being held up by conservatives. You just made that point. Progressives also play politics on the backs of the American people to make sure their bills get passed. It's alot of... Lol don’t play the victim. The reconciliation bill is the one that actually benefits the American people in a meaningful way. Though I’m well aware that this is the narrative that the corporate wing wants to spin to blame progressives. A deal was already made and it’s the corporate democrats who are holding up this agreement that party leadership AND Biden have publicly supported. Let me remind you the reconciliation bill was originally 6 trillion and watered down during negotiations. Negotiations that Manchin and Sinema want to prolong because they’re high on their political leverage.

It just sounds better when attacking to use the phrase "corporate democrats." Cool. Hey do you think AOC knew where the camera was when she ran over to cry on cue? But I'm the one playing the victim. alsemanche 97,830
She can keep her tears to herself thanks. Imagine crying when you didn't even have the guts to vote no and opted for a "present" instead. I don't care what political advantages that gives her, it's spineless and performative. LOVEDRUG 11,346
politicians have to play politics. if you want a progressive to do something else, idolise a protestor or something else. we wouldn't get anywhere if progressive politicians didn't play politics, just ask bernie or anyone else in that position. ceminay 1,122
It’s no longer a democracy if a representative of the people is forced to vote for something outside of their will. Negotiations/strategies are normal, but that doesn’t mean you can cry after voting. Suck it up, own your vote and explain to your constituents the risk/benefit of your decision if there is one. This performative crying implies that she was forced to do it against her will and she’s not responsible for her vote. She has the power to vote for whatever she wants and she can’t act like a victim when so many people voted her in for a reason. I like AOC but this is very off-putting and childish. Queen Bitch 10,513
Why is the US even funding other countries? I know that the US has an obsession with Israel but 1 BILLION dollars? That should have gone to the Americans citizens.

Fanta 5,019
This is truly disgusting, heartbreaking and frustrating. The media silenced protestors and dance around the subject of Israel’s apartheid and abuse of human rights. What’s the bigger picture here? Why is everyone so afraid of calling it out for what it is and WHY is America so invested in the terrorist state that is Israel? My heart breaks every time I see similar headlines, and it’s sad that the minority gets to pay dust to the vocal majority.
