Instead of saying he wanted a collab or hoped they would one day, he phrased it in a way that made it look like it was dependent on him instead of focusing on her permission. LG is very picky when it comes to her collabs. I was genuinely shocked when I saw Ariana and Blackpink on the tracklist of Chromatica.
