Next year's (May 2022) theme is In America: An Anthology of Fashion (part II). This year they 'invited' Gen Z stars to bring attention to this event and let everyone in, wear whatever and most of them didn't stick to the theme so it wasn't (with a few exceptions) Next year theme is very similar, I think we will get more spectacular looks in theme in 2022 from those who always deliver (Zendaya, Gaga, Katy, Blake Lively ...) but declined this year.
