Reminded me a bit of FKA Twigs BBC performance, just a bit. Wish she picked other songs.

From a design perspective, that’s probably one of the most beautiful set pieces I’ve ever seen. Such a simple and pure idea, and executed really well. Her vocals are also incredibly stable too. The camera work was a bit odd and it felt like they missed some interesting moments. But other than that, that really took my breath away. The way she is choosing to evolve her performances really reminds me of Gaga’s career.

Same..and her aura/personality is captivating. I like that she is surrounded with great people that helps her execute ideas well. She's consistent, and i hope that she gets another level up milestone soon. Globally, i think she's still just known as the Say So singer.

she said she took inspiration from FKA Twigs for this pefromance
"One artist that I look up to the most is FKA Twigs. She is peak perfection when it comes to performing on stage. And I think she’s very into that contemporary dance world. With that kind of ethereal-ness that she has, I feel like she is like the epitome of beauty. And I saw that if she’s taking parts from that (style of choreography)… it felt like it was only her, but we need more people exposing this beautiful form of contemporary/modern dance. And so I had her in mind when I wanted to create something beautiful in that sense.” https://variety.com/2021/music/news/doja-cat-vmas-grease-pepsi-commercial-mtv-1235060736/
