I have no words for this… This would have been all over world news for weeks if the nationalities were reversed.

What makes me angry is that this whole mess has been dumbed down to “We needed to leave Afghanistan” populism in the US (especially by Biden). Yes, you shouldn’t even have been there in the first place! But you already went, so you should have at least done your best for a respectable exit…

You can’t just ignore your huge responsibilities for domestic politics, it will bite you back. Each year, countries outside the West (increasingly even in the West) have even more distrust against the US thanks to all these horrible moves. Don’t be surprised when China and Russia start making more allies!

This happens all the f*cking time. The US claims to have targeted terrorism but somehow ends up killing civilians "accidentally". Anyone who believes there's a real "war on terror" is delusional at this point. Or maybe not actually, since Arabs/Middle Easterners are terrorists overall for the US, be it civilians or not.
