Ivy 12,562
I first became aware of her when Greyson Chance was on Ellen doing his Paparazzi performance Ellen had a surprise phone call for him from Gaga, and what's funny is I thought she was much older for some reason, like she was an old rocker.. I didn't really know who she was Anyways I can't remember an exact moment after that when I became a huge fan but it was years later when I just kept watching more and more of her interviews and I began to admire her so much the meow in zombieboy
Whigney Houstan 1,219
This performance. Her vocals aren't the best but she still sells the hell out of it. 10 year old me was gooped and I wanted her glasses (still do)
Debithius 5,863
I had obviously heard Poker Face and Just Dance between 08 and 09 but I was also very young back then so I didn't care about music too much which means I didn't know anything about Gaga outside those two songs. However, ShaneDawson often made parody videos of Gaga back then and I remember coming across a video of him doing a Bad Romance parody and after watching a few times I went and searched for the real thing and this was shortly before the Telephone video dropped. I kept youtubing her songs (even unreleased songs like Wonderful) The rest is history.

Did you get the standard 9 track CD of The Fame Monster or the deluxe CD which included The Fame? In my country we only got the deluxe release, so I got to enjoy both The Fame and The Fame Monster

Master Of Mayhem 1,415
I knew about Gaga since forever, but wasn't a fan because I didn't know enough about her. My first memory of hers is seeing her on the newspaper for wearing a meat dress, and I just remember going - wut I knew so less about her that until her Oscars performance in 2016, I used to think no one knew what she actually looked like - kinda like Sia It was only in 2017 when I was on IG and saw a post that said, "Remember when Lady Gaga sang the words, 'No matter gay, straight or bi....' in front of the whole world - when Trump was elected as President of the USA". I googled the lyrics, and came across the song, and cried. I came out to one of my best friends soon after. It brought us even closer. Everyday I am grateful to that Instagram post. I would not be who I am today if I hadn't found that IG post randomly that afternoon.
GagaIsMyCure 3,607
I became a fan when the Paparazzi MV came out Then the Bad Romance MV and TFM made me realise I was going to stan her for eternity
Nite 5,588
My best friend broke up with her boyfriend in 2010 and then had nobody to go to the MBT in Hamburg with. I originally wasn't super interested, I'd loved her at the VMAs, liked her, but wouldn't have called myself a fan really. I went and was so overwhelmed by seeing Gaga live it all went spiraling from there.
GDA878 421
I knew of Gaga from JD's rise in Australia. I thought Poker Face was sung by an imposter. I'd see snippets of her vids, performances etc.. I had equal love for the top 40 artists... My friends talked about The Exorcist at school. I searched Lady Gaga Exorcist one day and saw the iconic MB puke interlude. I was scared, but Intrigued. I borrowed the fame monster from the library and loved it.. I wanted to know everything about her and the music.. She was (and still is) so fearless... It's been 11 years... aww...
The Fame Monster 4,315
I believe it was in the late 2009 or early 2010, after I had listened to Bad Romance and Alejandro on YouTube. Oh and saw the Bad Romance music video! Soon I purchased The Fame Monster from iTunes and fell in love. I was 14 years old. It’s kinda cool that I have this username, because it was The Fame Monster where it all started for me. I had heard about Lady Gaga and listened to Poker Face and Paparazzi in 2008-2009 but The Fame Monster was the album that made me a fan. Then I saw the VMA performance of Paparazzi from 2009 which made me love Gaga even more. Then I saw her at The Monster Ball in Helsinki, Finland, in 2010, watched her snatch trophies at the 2010 VMAs and singing a snippet of Born This Way, AND finally released Born This Way (the song and the album) in 2011, and I became a little monster for life! Queen Gloria 3,464
VMA Paparazzi performance. I've always been into artsy dramatic performers and horror and stunning imagery like that. When Just Dance came out I was like meh, whatever. She's just another basic pop girl. But when I saw that for the first time, I was like holy sh*t, she is iconic. And now I'm here 12 years later lol, wow. Time flies
