The trending Twitter topics :toofunny:

I'm deciding to believe the majority of unvaccinated people are the ones that just "haven't gotten around to it" or "don't feel it's necessary". I have an employee like that and she said she'll get it if it's required "I don't mind ".

After all, in the survey done by the census bureau, only about 10% of Americans said they'd flat out refuse to get the vaccine. Hopefully this is the push needed to get those on the fence vaccinated

And hey they're still free to not get vaccinated, so I hope they enjoy their weekly tests :huntyga:

edit: well except the people working in health facilities but wtf are they doing unvaccinated in the first place

Even if a few dont follow thru with the rules this will still have a huge impact

And i suspect not that many would break it. Big companies like to bend the rules or find loop holes to get away with stuff but when a rule is very specific they tend to follow these guidelines more to the letter than small companies because when they break rules they get caught more easily than small companies

But the thing is implementation is gonna suck. Do you really think busy stores and restaurants will take time to verify all their employees are getting tested? I can see a whole lot of managers marking their employees as vaccinated when they actually aren't.

So does this mean if you work in one place with over 100 people or if your company employs over 100 total? Like my retail store only has 10 employees but the company employs thousands in total?

Larger corporations will probably have employees verify proof of vaccination through HR.

This should've been the very first step taken. A strict and forceful route. Not the "America's BACK.... together"/"Doesn't the air smell sweeter without a mask!" sh*t they put out for months leading up to Independence Day with the delusional hopes that 70% of the country would be vaccinated... That was a huge misstep that has us seeing a worse situation than it was in the beginning.

This is great, but at this point, the division on this issue is so high, and Governors are openly flouting guidelines and relegating to prayer, that I can't even reasonably think this is going to make a significant dent. The public opinion polls are going to take a hit, and being this close to the midterms, they'll reel back. It, like pretty much everything else in the U.S., will be half-a*sed.

Im sure some wont, but if its a law i still think the majority will... at least enough to make a difference

Do u know how many laws are inconvinient but companies still follow them just cuz its the law? Some stuff maybe very half assed but u cant really half ass this. Either u check they got tested or u dont. Theres no middle ground

I think more will follow it than ur giving them credit for
