In Wildflower Wildfire she referenced to her mother as someone who is her father's wife, and she referenced to some life events in her life in the track: ''My father never stepped in when his wife would rage at me So I ended up awkward but sweet Later then hospitals, stand still on my feet Comfortably numb, but with lithium came poetry'' I read somewhere online a theory about the album being about her life and the traumatic events she has experienced. majkl > kitsch Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I like to contribute a lot to Genius and I found out recently that the lyrics were quite deep. For example, in Text Book, the first line goes like ''I guess you could call it textbook. I was lookin' for the father I wanted back'' and one of the lines goes like ''And then there was the issue of her. I didn't even like myself, or love the life I had'' which presumably references to her mother (again). For me, it feels like it's been a year. This album was supposed to come out in May, then the 4th of July, and now it's finally coming in October. I wasn’t a big fan of the previous three singles, but maybe I’ll like them better within the album!
