I thought the Haus Labs version would be better, but it just sounds like a loud, messy, unreleased demo. Babylon is my least favourite Gaga song and Chromatica's worse for me, but from time to time it's not too bad. Would have been nice for Babylon to have been released as a standalone to promote Haus Labs back when that trailer dropped and we could have left it there. And that’s why people were crazy about it, that beat is so urban, experimental, dark and metallic. It’s one of those unique Gaga sound, like Bad Romance in a way. I’m so happy with it (even tho I would have like the V mag harmonies in a perfect world). And it has an insane replay value since the most enjoyable part is the first half of the song - that Ozio sample daaaamn. Would have liked another little Ozio moment at the end of the song too tho. Love my thumping bass. I agree that adding the harmonies and bit more vocals woild have made it unstoppable. Just your above average old lady who loves Target and Sushi.
