Dr Fudge 8,625 Posted September 3, 2021 Share Posted September 3, 2021 Earlier this summer the Spice Girls celebrated 25 years since their debut single Wannabe launched them into superstardom. Over the past few days it was announced that they’ll reissue a deluxe version of their debut album in late October! This is so exciting, as they played such an exhilarating role in my childhood, as I’m sure they did a lot of you. My favorite song has always been Say You’ll Be There and they just released a 7” radio mix of the track ahead of the album. It’s a bit slowed down, acoustic, and has a disco break. Check it out! Anyone else pretty stoked for the rerelease? beli8 1,420 Posted September 3, 2021 Share Posted September 3, 2021 This is so nostalgic, I love it! Im interested about the deluxe reissue, although I didn't read what all it'll be like. The radio mix of Say You'll Be There sounds so cool, too. You can hear their vocals so much more than on the original (although it sounds like they edited them a lotttt more, esp Geri's part). Sometimes I wish they would have kept releasing more new music (the 5 of them together) but there is also something so special about those short years we got to experience during their height. Just couldn’t bring myself to pick between any of the 5 girls’ versions. @RAMROD you are so lucky!!! Been a cuff touple, a puff bupple, a tough couple of years.
