It's simply too easy. I’m not arguing, but I just want to help clarify what everyone was expecting. The version you and some others were expecting is the 2018 demo aka V-Magazine version. That version was leaked in 2020 after the tracklist for Chromatica was confirmed. The one that we got is the Haus Labs version aka the only one we knew of at the time in 2019 for the Haus Labs promo video. The title was kind of confirmed by one of the models from the video in 2019 when responding to a fan asking if they knew the title of the song. That model revealed it started with a ‘B’, but couldn’t remember much. The title was leaked in January 2020 on Reddit at the same time Stupid Love was leaking, and it was confirmed it belonged to the audio from the Haus Labs video. The way it sounds dissonant in some parts and weirdly chopped up… why would you build that prechorus up so well only for it to drop into a beatless, uneventful chorus?
