When you think about the fact he wasn't employed by Gaga and she was a client of his, she's done more than enough. If it was anybody's else's dogs she wouldn't have been required to help him (but probably would have out of kindness). 

I imagine when you're rich you have to set boundaries because everyone will be wanting something. It's a tricky situation to be in and one I don't envy. 

You might have something there. He goes to great lengths in the interview to explain how he was on a high after his first date for ages and he decided to celebrate by buying a bottle of champagne, as if he felt the need to explain why he was on the streets with the dogs at that time of the evening.

I adore Gaga but I'm not blinded by that. Anyone with her level of wealth should do more to help those nearest to her. That's my opinion and it's on the basis that she clearly hasn't given a substantial amount (relative to her wealth) or else this interview would've never happened. 

But we don't know if she didn't also gave more money.

And you saying this mess wouldn't happen if she had sent a large sum of money is naive imo. Even with a lot received many would still ask for a lot more afterwards.

I just realized that "ValleyOfTheDogs" is the account Gaga unfollowed a few weeks/months ago... (at least I strongly believe that)

Do y'all remember when we were speculating who she unfollowed? Her number at the time went from 51 to 50 ... I am pretty sure she used to follow him on the dogs/valley account.

I’m in the pet sitting field and I’m honestly shocked that he was allowed off her property with those dogs and that he was ever allowed to publicly link her dogs to his company. Hindsight is always 20/20, but they should’ve just hired Ryan to live at her mansion and watch the dogs while she was in Italy. It makes the most sense since she’s so high profile, as are those dogs.

As his boss and friend she did more than enough, she can't babysit him for life..

He wasn't taking a short walk around the block. He walked the dogs along Sunset Blvd., around 10 PM, to a liquor store - 7 BLOCKS away - for a bottle of Champagne. That's not his usual route, according to his friend. 

Ryan and the 3 French bulldogs (worth $4,500 to $10,000, each) were captured on security camera at Almor Wine & Spirits on Sunset Blvd. and Fairfax Ave in Hollywood, a very BUSY intersection with a drug store, a gas station, restaurants, grocery stores, banks, etc. 

The cops watched the surveillance tape and realized that Gaga was NOT the target... It was a random crime. Sunset Blvd. is heavily trafficked and well lit, and the suspects could have gotten a good look at the dogs to determine their breed.

In fact, the LAPD had issued an alert in early Feb (before this happened on Feb 24) about a spate of similar violent DRIVE-BY armed robberies in the Melrose area (a few blocks south of Sunset). 

According to a felony complaint filed by prosecutors on April 29, the 3 suspects were driving around Hollywood looking for FRENCH BULLDOGS. They had no idea the dogs belong to Gaga. 

They spotted Ryan with the dogs on Sunset Blvd. and followed him for 7 blocks. They turned off the headlights as he walked down a secluded side street... 

I feel bad for him, but he's partly to blame. His JOB was to protect the dogs in his care, but he put them (and himself) in danger. He could have gone to the liquor store himself the next day! 

Gaga's probably the FIRST celeb to have their French Bulldogs stolen while in the care of a "professional pet sitter." 😒

She trusted him to keep them safe.

I'd be upset. When it happened the LAPD thought Gaga was the target. She must have felt so guilty. 

It turns out she was NOT the target - and NONE of this would have happened had Ryan not taken her 3 French Bulldogs with him to a LIQUOR STORE, 7 BLOCKS away, at night, around 10 PM, to buy a bottle of Champagne...
