I actually do not ever want to wish Kanye well or give him congratulations I actually in fact wish him very poorly! And this has nothing to do with Kanye's beef with Taylor. I actually, up until Kanye's political affiliations were made clear, used to be a casual listener/fan. Even after then I still streamed Ultralight Beam and Monster! iconic songs. 

But I will never wish someone who support and gives platforms to abusers, rapists, and homophobes well, I will never support them, and I will actually always look down on people who support them! As someone who has been the victim of sexual violence it is actually quite sick that people are willing to look past the fact that Kanye West featured a groomer and rapist, two domestic abusers, and a flagrant homophobe on his album, for the sake of music? I think if they knew the impact of sexual and domestic violence on people's lives they would be singing a much different tune. However, all it does is just remind me that rape culture is still very much alive, and fans are willing to look past their favs collaborating with, supporting, and giving platforms to rapists, abusers, and homophobes. They are okay with that, and I honestly will never understand that and I don't wish to as I think those people are morally deficient as well! So I sleep well at night knowing that I will never, ever support someone of that nature. And that includes Kim Petras if that's someone's like glorious counterpoint yes of course that includes Kim Petras why would it not

True, however, a collaboration that Gaga admitted was a massive mistake, took off of streaming services, stopped selling ARTPOP for ages until new ones without R Kelly came out, and apologized profusely does not even come close to having an abuser, rapist and homophobe all the while not thinking he's made a mistake and endorsing them. 

To speak in Legal terms, Lady Gaga only did the actus reus whereas Kanye West had both the actus reus and mens rea element.
