Taylor did only around 20 million less with 11 songs less. If we’re going to look at averages, if Kanye’d had Folklore’s average track streams he would’ve debuted with 136m. If Taylor had Donda’s averages, she would’ve only debuted with 59m. So Taylor, on average, actually vastly outperformed Donda. To be fair to Kanye, he also had only 16 hours, but why would anyone be fair to that human embodiment of a garbage can. 

I’m not sure the need to bring up Taylor in a Kanye thread, but seeing as she IS the music industry, I am not surprised to see she is on your mind. But maybe thinking about Taylor takes up Kanye fan’s mental space so much so they ignore the fact that he’s collaborating and giving platforms to rapists, abusers, homophobes, and more! But he’s a genius… and that makes it okay. right?

I mean I just think it’s absolutely hilarious that you’re trying to take the moral high ground when you’re listening to and supporting an artist who actively gives platforms to rapists abusers and homophobes. What if someone you knew was one of Marilyn Manson’s victims? or Chris Brown’s?
