It may or may not be a "dying art form," but Jazz is one of the least lucrative music genres out there. If it's as popular as it was half a century ago, a lot more R&B singers and pop stars would be doing Jazz! Ariana has the perfect voice! As for money, Gaga's on stage jumping up and down for 2 hours whether she's performing for 5.2k (FIVE thousand) people at Park MGM, or 81k (EIGHTY thousand) people at Stade de France in Paris. Not a math major? She makes A LOT MORE money touring! 🙂 Vegas is great for performers with young children, those with chronic health issues, or maybe they need a break from touring.
