Justin Bieber breaks Spotify’s all-time record

I like a few of his songs but never listened to any of his full albums. His longevity is impressive as is his evolution. Started as a little pop star and changed his look and sound as he became an adult. Even after some of his controversies, he’s still relevant. 
 

Is there a way to see how many total songs are listened to on Spotify? I figure streaming as a whole is increasing, so all of these “this artist makes HISTORY on Spotify” are just temporary as some one else with reach the same achievement in a few months anyways.
