Lorde’s new album Solar Power landing at Number 2 on the Official Albums Chart.
It’s Lorde’s strongest chart debut in the UK to date, following 2013’s Pure Heroine (4) and 2017’s Melodrama (5).

Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour reclaims the top spot on the Official Albums Chart, boosted by its release on vinyl this week.
The US star’s record scores fifth non-consecutive stint at the summit, and is the most physically-purchased and most-streamed album in the UK of the week, including 7,800 sales on vinyl.

Sour becomes the fastest-selling female debut album on vinyl since 2000, overtaking Billie Eilish’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?.

Tried to find out but their website is absolute trash. The links seem to just take you anywhere

I'm not sure about her personally, maybe 2 or 3?

They don’t really reveal it on UK charts. And anyway, who cares? It’s a #2 album, no one cares about numbers after that.

Good for her. I'll be honest, I couldn't stand the album on first listen. I really couldn't - I was do disappointed. But now I cant stop listening to it. I love it. Weird.

The album is very easy to listen to. The tracks weave in and out from one another so nicely. I wasn't a big fan of Solar Power (song) when it first came out and it grew on me. I find the album to be quite wonderful.
