Hmm I think it’s more of a creativity block the team has. And also going through the motions of her just dancing in videos with not much story telling (which was why 911 was the best video released for a long time). I like that she’s hiring new directors to help her with her videos because maybe they can help her improve the story boards etc

they were talking about changing outfits, not colors

she was going to be pink the whole time, because she's the kindness punk

and she did exactly that, different outfits and choreo

learn the dance they did, come back here and tell us what about it was lazy

This might be the one Halsey album that I like enough to get into her music. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross can never go wrong.

It's the cinematography and quality. I love Gaga (clearly) but her videos don't have that movie-like quality anymore. This video feels like something really 'luxe'.

I agree that it must be a creativity block, too. 

Fans can come up with some really compelling ideas for Chromatica but Gaga (or her team) can't. I actually think it's down to a lack of commitment. I really do. And I don't like to say that because Gaga is and always will be my favourite artist, and she's immensely talented (far more than Halsey), but she doesn't seem to want to explore creative concepts anymore. A lot of her visual work feels quite 'basic' - aside from 911. 

Honestly, I'll probably be dragged for this comment but I actually think Gaga would agree - she hasn't been as committed to the visuals or the concepts or the spectacles. It's obvious. In fact, she even told Billboard last year that making the 911 video was the first time in a long time she felt the 'fire' she once had.

I've never been a Halsey fan, but have been intrigued when she announced this project. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross producing for a pop girl really got me hyped, and damn is this song great... I've enjoyed the album as a whole and have been listening to it on repeat today, but I am not a woman, I'm a god is BEYOND.

Yes she's deffo more open now than she was instead of directing the music videos herself or having Inez or her team I suppose. But the directors are not gonna be wardrobe, hair etc for the most part. I'll leave 911 out of it despite being a good mv it's not one of my favourite gaga videos and I thought it made no sense with the Chromatica vibe/aesthetic. It did with the lyrics tho that's why I'm leaving it out as well.

She needs to have new stylists, new hair and makeup, new creative team members etc. I know she wants to be this star that when she dies she'd had 1 hairdresser/wig maker whatever, 1 manager 1 this 1 that like the old holywood stars and she opened up a bit during the start of the Chromatica era but that's not enough.

well if they were not talking about changing outfits that matched each tribe that was another miss.  im sure a 5 year old can count the steps of what she did (learn the dance and show up in the outfits?) thanks for the bullet points tho.

the overall video is hated by everyone and it looks cheap and unfinished. I'm actually in the minority who is not mad at it or at the ROM mv cause they both low budget. compare this to paparazzi for example. if you are happy with your fave doing mediocre then good for u
