I feel like this has been Ginger’s season, she’s had some great and funny moments and has really upped her fashion (in the second half of the season lol)

Kylie has been beautiful throughout, but she hasn’t really stood out IMO, she’s just kinda been there

Ra’jah has stood out, and has constantly served looks, she’s improved so much 

Eureka has already been eliminated, but still has a great track record, but again I wouldn’t say she’s stood out, even if I started to enjoy her more than in S9 

so IMO, I want Ra’jah to win, but I think Ginger will and fully deserves to win  even from just seeing the cast months ago, I knew ginger would shine and be a front runner this season

Yeah. But "winner energy" is an abstract based on subjective impression which is subject to implicit bias. It's terrifying. Fat people don't get what they deserve so much in life because people just don't think we seem like a "good fit" or we just don't give them that "good feeling" they have from other candidates. And no one wants to think about how body type plays a role in those abstract subjective impressions. I promise you it does.

Fatphobia is a real issue, and thinking that Ra'jah and Kylie deserve to win is not fatphobic. You're saying there's never been a fat winner, well there's never been a trans winner. By your logic favoring anyone other than Kylie is transphobic. It's not. You just like who you like. Ginger should have won Season 7, maybe you can make a point that her not winning is fatphobic, but in this season she was just not impressive to me. I strongly disliked her attitude and I prefer Eureka winning over her. Other than that, which queen was robbed of the crown because of fatphobia?

Maybe there is fatphobia in general, but I doubt there is any fatphobia in Ginger's regard. Most people are rooting for Rajah, Kylie and TKB because of their fantastic redemption. Rajah went from most hated to most loved. Can you imagine?

Plus this is Ginger and Eureka's 3rd time on the show. And they already have done extremely well on their seasons. Even when the cast was announced, literally everybody predicted Eureka and Ginger to be in the top 4. It's not a shocker.

People love to root for the underdogs. There is literally a hated black queen and a trans queen in the top 4. And people supporting them doesn't make them fatphobic.

I don’t think anyone is trying to say that Ginger/Eureka! deserves crown more than Kylie or Ra'jah

But if you just look at the show's history you will see that big girls are always easy targets for fans and viewers are so quick to disregard big girl's performances on their season every single time. Just look at fan's votes before the finale every year and prior to this year you would see big and/or black girls in bottom on every poll. Or just go to Twitter or Instagram and see how people disregard Ginger's and Eureka's performances this season to justify their hate towards them.

Problem is not with this season and girls, but fan's overall perception of big girls (and poc queens too) and how every time big girl does well it's because production pushed or her attitude is bad or she is obvious winner or she is just bad. There is always an excuse for a big girl not to win.

On Instagram Kylie's post has more than 150k likes, second it's Ra'jah with 90k, then Ginger and then Eureka.

On Twitter Ra'jah is the first with 26k likes, but Kylie is right behind her and she'll probably take over soon, Ginger third and Eureka 4th.

I personally would love to see Ra'jah wins this season: she was great all the time, she made all her outfits and said she didn't spend more than 3k to make ALL of them, she had a FULL redemption (bad attitudes and hated by the fans in her season, great and loved in this one).

I'd be fine with Kylie winning, even tho I don't know she never gave me winner vibes but I get what people see in her and I see that too. If she wins, I'm happy.

If Ginger wins I'd be fine just because she's a great drag queen. The problem for me is that this is her 3rd times and she was the Ginger that we all expected her to be: someone really thought she wouldn't get the final?

Eureka is a good drag queen, but she hasn't a memorable moment in this season.

They are all great, but I hope Ra'jah gets it (to me Ra'jah journy embodies the PERFECT EXEMPLE of queens who should do and win All Stars).

But then again, if Trixie Mattel won All Stars every 4 of them can win it too.

There are four finalists. The two thin ones are the favorites. Everyone is fatphobic. It's like racism and misogyny. It's ingrained in culture. Insisting no one is affected by it is just making a list of reasons why you can ignore bias. It's like saying maybe there just has never been a Black director who deserved to win Best Director at the Oscars in over 90 years. Because none has. "Well, you see there are all these other reasons..." No. It's a mortifying stat that reveals an implicat bias. 19 winners in Drag Race and no fat winners. And when fat people make the finale they are never the fan favorite. And the favorite is always a thin queen. It's a mortifying stat that reveals implicit bias.

Also there are 13 seasons of drag race and Gottmik was first openly trans queen to participate on 13th season (if I’m not mistaken), while big girls been there since first season, so it’s unfair to compare these two narratives in my opinion

Gottmik was the first trans man, but the first trans woman to compete while being openly trans was Peppermint or Gia I think, aside from Kylie and Monica who came out during the show.

There is no reason that fatphobia cancels out transphobia or vice versa. You're making up a correlation that does not exist. We have taken stock and remedied a lot of the villanization and abuse by the show of queens of color and we're seeing more queens of color succeed and find favor with fans now And that's good. Casting has finally ended the ban on trans women who have had gender affirming surgeries, and we're seeing women not have to hide their identities to succeed and find favor with fans now. And that's good. But for some reason whenever you mention fatphobia as an issue people chime in with "Oh, yeah, well..." and give reasons why they've convinced themselves it isn't. Just recognize that all of these are issues and none invalidates the other. In this case, we have four finalists and two are thin and two are fat and the thin queens are predictably the runaway favorites. Fatphobia plays a role in that. If you don't think so, then you are not recognizing it as an issue like you say you are.
