I think Emma Corrin did a terrific job because she looked, talked, and behaved like Diana. I'm afraid Kristen won't be able to do that since her face and mannerisms are very well-known to the public. And yes, I kept seeing Kristen there. That said, it looks they did a great job. Jackie was amazing. So I have high expectations for this film. Yes, trust me, I usually hate when really famous people play really famous people. Emma had it much easier as a newcomer. But, I feel like Kristen can really understand Diana in a way that the others won't or can't. Chased by paparazzi, horribly targeted by the media at times, beloved by others, suffocating fame at a young age, misunderstood by a lot of people, they both have certain image of themselves out there that doesn't reflect who they really are. Diana was not a pristine Saint. Kristen isn't the surly moody twilight girl. You could argue that you couldn't see past Natalie Portman with Jackie because her face and mannerisms are so well-known, and yet she killed it and after 5 minutes your forgot it was Portman there.
