That’s interesting! Yeah I think AHStories is at time on purpose “bad” as it’s also a tribute to old tv classics like Tales from the Crypt and other 80s shows that where VERY loosely based on their movie originals. Like Freddy’s Nighmares which felt like a really cheap attempt at banking on the success of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. But it’s very intriguing how they ended the season with AHSTORIES. I think this spin off might be closing any arches and loose ends from previous AHS seasons while also progressing the mythology forward.

Omg i really need to watch the finale of Stories....

I mean, I’ll stay cautious here… they managed to get messy with one-off episodes for American Horror Stories, so we’ll see how Double Feature goes :laughga: I’m wondering how the two parts will be linked to one another - if they are at all.

i have this theory that Death Valley is a story that Finn Wittrock's character in Red Tide is writing, both parts of the season have to be connected somehow, right?

I don't think they are linked, since Death Valley is - allegedly - set in the past. I believe the stories will be just short and different from each other.

That's also my thoughts. Every season is somehow connected to one another, but I expect a stronger connexion between these 2 parts, so that it still feels like one installment in the end.
