Bling 31,072
FX Teases ‘American Horror Story: Double Feature’ With Three-Part Audio Series American Horror Story fans can get a taste of the series’ upcoming tenth installment, Double Feature, with a three-part audio drama. Just days before American Horror Story: Double Feature touches down for its premiere, FX launched a three-part audio series featuring original character Rose Flynn, who hosts a nightly radio program from the Provincetown’s fictional public station KPCD 666. Styled after late night radio shows, each three-to-eight installment of the audio series will feature clues, locations and a few surprises from the first part of Double Feature. Set to debut Wednesday, August 25 at 10 p.m on FX, the latest installment is split into two parts, with the first six episodes set in the fictional Massachusetts seaside town. In part one, a struggling writer, his pregnant wife and their daughter move to an isolated beach town for the winter. Once they’re settled in, the town’s true residents begin to make themselves known. The last four episodes of the season will transition over to the second chapter, Death Valley. https://deadline-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/deadline.com/2021/08/american-horror-story-double-feature-audio-series-fx-1234820149/amp/?amp_gsa=1&_js_v=a6&usqp=mq331AQIKAGwASCAAgM%3D#amp_tf=From %1%24s&aoh=16298342069952&csi=0&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&share=https%3A%2F%2Fdeadline.com%2F2021%2F08%2Famerican-horror-story-double-feature-audio-series-fx-1234820149%2F -This is really interesting and original promo! What I've noticed is the longer seasons tend to have entire filler episodes or you just feel strung along. This way it's all action. Especially since the stories this time only have 6 episodes and then 4! discord.gg/hausofdelulu The #1 Discord for Delusional Little Monsters! hELXIG 41,681
Sorry to piggyback onto your topic, but does anyone know if AHS Double Feature will be streaming anywhere? Or will I have to torrent it? I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I just think back to the first three seasons and wish that Ryan and the writers could replicate that level of storytelling over a 13-episode arc British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS

AHS Asylum is the most complete, satisfying story. discord.gg/hausofdelulu The #1 Discord for Delusional Little Monsters!

Yeah half of AHStories are amazing and the other half are barely watchable. I really don't understand what happened there still have last week's episode to watch. Also, I'm pretty certain Stories is mostly separate and won't link with Double Feature. But I think one has aliens, the other sirens, and they somehow connect. discord.gg/hausofdelulu The #1 Discord for Delusional Little Monsters! OMF 3,146
That’s cool I suppose but it’s already August 25 here in Australia so will just wait for the first episode to go online. Don’t want to know more!! Although I am sure the Alien/Siren theme is only a diversion from the actual story? AHS never keeps to the one theme, really…Hoping that having more time between seasons (didn’t get one last year) would’ve given them more time to fine tune it

That’s interesting! Yeah I think AHStories is at time on purpose “bad” as it’s also a tribute to old tv classics like Tales from the Crypt and other 80s shows that where VERY loosely based on their movie originals. Like Freddy’s Nighmares which felt like a really cheap attempt at banking on the success of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. But it’s very intriguing how they ended the season with AHSTORIES. I think this spin off might be closing any arches and loose ends from previous AHS seasons while also progressing the mythology forward.
