I'm not equating the two at all. Simply stating he could do the bare minimum or worse and people would call it revolutionary.

The point is he could do whatever tf he wants and people would claim the same, not that rebuilding his childhood home is the same as the (exaggerated) example I gave.

That’s just a bit of a weird critique to come up with in this thread, unless you somehow think what he’s doing now is the bare minimum.

Besides the reason people praise him is exactly because never does the bare minimum. He always does something unique and different. They don’t praise him just for being Kanye West.
