i feel like we are in an era of Gaga where she pops out a GREAT song every couple years because she saves them for movies etc. sort of like how Shallow was likely a Joanne track that they put on the side. 

i wonder if she is how we will get Frankensteined and Sire someday.

Shallow wasn’t a Joanne track, Gaga just asked Mark to hop on the soundtrack at the same time.

I mean, Mark said it himself. Also the original meaning of the song was based on Jacksons’s death.
