Normani says she’s disappointed after being overlooked by the VMAs

She just released the song and it's not even eligible, she can perform it next year where it belongs, I don't understand the rush and why she needs to get the opportunity before artists who actually released songs earlier this year and eligible for this VMA..

Why isn't this energy aimed at her label though? Why is MTV being hated on for not letting her perform when she doesn't have much to perform? And for people to pull the "black woman" card over it? It just damages the credibility of black women's struggles.

How can you not stan the TALENT? Motivation (especially) and Wild Side were some of the best videos of their respective years. And she’s a better dancer than most other pop stars. She seems like a really good choice for a music video based award show.

Not her saying this while she hasn’t released anything. It amazes me that camila has released 2 albums and the rest of the girls cannot hardly produce anything let alone an album.

I heard it was because the girls were under a contact for another fifth harmony album so they couldn’t produce and release their own music!?

I hate that her talent is being wasted but that said this kind of mentality, the air of pretentiousness won’t do her any good. It’s sad because everyone will concede that she’s talented, but then that’s only part of the equation.
