Covid turned the world upside down and caused probably the biggest economic disruption since the Great Depression. Most of these drug companies were given blank checks to develop these vaccines. The issue of funding went out the window. Trials were filled with no issue. So we shouldn’t be saying “why were these vaccines developed so quickly?” We should be saying “why aren’t other vaccines and drug treatments not developed at the same lightning speed?” 

Also historically side effects from vaccines are going to happen within the first 15 minutes (anaphylaxis) to 6 weeks, maybe 8 weeks but that’s being generous, not years down the road.

In the U.S. it takes around 10 years for a drug to come out. It's not the developing stage that's the issue rather than the fact that in this period companies can choose the safest option! i had to check the laws for these stuff because of an assignment. That's when I begun to see that the way things are moving are not adding up

talking about irresponsibility, I ve been back in my island during the summertime and the amount of vacc people who said that they dont care anymore and ended up catching and spreading the virus is really mind boggling , and then vacc people call the rest irresponsible. there you are. keep repeating the same tape that the media has been playing.

One think to keep in mind is that vaccines fall into a different category called biologics. There are differences with drugs and vaccines.

Also I will agree with you about some vaccinated people being reckless and not wanting to go back to taking precautions. I’m just basing it on anecdotal evidence though. If we were dealing with the original strain of the virus I would’ve been okay with going back to normal. The delta variant for me has changed that. I’ll continue to mask up and avoid crowded places. Some call me paranoid but that’s fine.

Also an other point that arises with mandatory medical practises is "where are they going to draw the line".

So for example Elon musk made the neurolink to predict future medical conditions etc. What if that becomes mandatory? so by having this chip in your brain you ll be able to get diagnosed in time and not to go to the hospital or get  medication earlier etc. 

So imagine in the future they decide that in the name of our own good they would say" we are limiting your freedoms and you can't by this type of goods , you cant do these type of activities because they are linked to heart disease, cancer etc and you don't have the neurolink to predict whether  or not you will get sick. and we cannot afford to hospitalise you"

Why this dystopian fantasy? Vaccines have been around for ages and many of them have been mandatory to enter different countries, and if you don't get them you either get jabbed or simple not enter the country. It's a VACCINE. It doesn't even compare to whatever tf Musk is working on. If people are not allowed to do certain activities now because they're not vaccinated it's because the world is in deep sh*t because of COVID and no one can afford to make it worse because of people who refuse to get vaxxed. I'm so tired of these dramatica my god.

I used the neurolink as an example. it s not about that. it's about compromising our freedoms. do you realise that vaxxed people can still transmit and make other people sick and they act irresponsibly? in the UK they have stopped wearing masks in public places while the virus is out there, while in Greece we have different measures at the beginning and the end of summer in order to get more tourism. Also other countries such as new zealand managed to stop the virus because they took measures in time. Everything is political and things don't add up. in these times politicians should have bought more means of public transport to avoid buses being packed, reduce the number of students in each classroom etc(politicians in greece didnt take such measures all they like to do is reduce freedoms and control media whilst they banned demonstrations and hiring police officers).  This pandemic has turned into authoritarian politics.

if you don't like this dramatica you can go fall asleep listen to chromatica and believe that everything is good. No one is forcing you to respond and spare your precious time.
